Sales sparring for B2B tech founders and enterprise sellers

From lucky wins toa way of selling.

I work with a carefully selected number of teams and sales leaders in B2B tech — as the person they call when a deal, a hire or a whole quarter needs thinking through. Not a programme, not a curriculum. Someone in your corner who knows this kind of sale from the inside. Because I’ve been there and have guided many others to develop their best and most natural toolset.

Between 0 and 3 million ARR, two things run at once.

  1. The pressure

The number has to land this quarter. The deals that decide it are the complex ones — many stakeholders, long cycles, procurement at the end. And you’re also hiring, building, reporting, selling.

  2. The curiosity

You can feel there’s a better way to run these conversations. You want to know why one deal moved and the next stalled — not a framework, the actual reason.

  3. Where I come in

Sparring is where those two meet: someone alongside you over months, who knows your deals by name, thinks out loud with you and is reachable when it matters — not homework, not a course.

What I keep walking into — and where we start

Most sales teams aren’t short of effort. They’re short of a shared way to sell.

When we buy, we want to know what for. Yet most B2B tech orgs still run like it’s 2012: the number lands from above with no relation to what’s actually in the pipeline, and everybody underneath improvises.

  1. 01

    Targets from the top floor

Ambition set far away from the deals on the table — so the plan is already fiction by week three.

“You’re the founder still closing everything yourself, and it no longer fits in the week.”

  2. 02

    Every seller their own recipe

Three sellers, three ways to run discovery, no shared language for value. Nothing compounds.

“You’re winning deals — but you couldn’t say why the last one closed and this one didn’t.”

  3. 03

    Colleagues as competitors

Ranking rewards keeping things to yourself, so the deal that was won teaches the team nothing.

“Five people are in the decision, and you’re really only talking to one of them.”

When nobody can name the value, price becomes the conversation. The discount is what’s left when none of that gets fixed.

So we start where the door is already open: your live deals, your first 99 customers, the conversations you’re in this week.

What I don’t do: lead gen concepts, cold outbound at volume, generic playbooks, one-size-fits-all sales training — if that’s what you need, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better.

Three ways in

  1. 01One-to-one

Founder coaching, up to 3M ARR

B2B tech founders & enterprise sellers

A close, ongoing partnership with the person carrying the number — founder, first sales leader, or the one seller everyone else watches. A standing session in your calendar, plus me in the background between them: a voice message before the negotiation, a second pair of eyes on the offer. Over three to six months the process behind your wins becomes repeatable — not luck, not the first few fortunate shots. Selective on purpose: a handful of clients at a time.

  2. 02One-to-one

    The first 99 customers

Early B2B tech founders, fit already showing

For founders who believe they’ve found the fit and are ready to push hard for the first real customer base. Founder-led selling in B2B tech, sharpened week by week: who to talk to, what to ask, how to close without giving the price away.

  3. 03For teams

    Workshops for teams selling tech

    Whole sales teams, B2B tech

For organisations that need the whole team on the same page: focused sessions on discovery, qualification and value-based selling for teams selling technology into enterprise — always run on the team’s own live deals. The only format I deliver to a room rather than a person.

Three working principles

How we work together

We meet in a steady rhythm and work on whatever is live: a deal, a conversation, a hire, a decision you keep postponing. Between sessions I’m reachable — short questions get short answers, no meeting needed. No curriculum, nothing to get through. Over time I know your market, your team and your pipeline well enough to be useful in ten minutes.

  1. Principle 01

    Curiosity before solutions

    Real interest before you pitch.

  2. Principle 02

    Co-creation beats persuasion

People defend what they helped build.

  3. Principle 03

    Ownership builds confidence

    Working what you actually control.

“When I started working with Jamaine, toern was still pre-product-market fit, and as a founder I came from selling physical products, not software. Over the past two and a half years, she helped me build our sales process strategically from the ground up: defining the right ICP, truly understanding the buying persona’s pains, asking the right questions and turning that into demos, offers and outreach that convert. The impact is tangible: we grew from €0 to a six-figure ARR, and went from three rather unstructured calls to closing a deal in just one, because the process is now lean and well thought through. Together we created a playbook that enables me to onboard and coach my own team, and personally I shifted from confrontational to value-based selling and learned to say no when it’s not the right fit. I’d recommend Jamaine to any founder or start-up team looking for a structured coach who digs deep into the business, challenges you and genuinely enables people.”

CCO, eco.mio / Sales Coach, Main Impact

Hi, I’m Jamaine

I’ve spent over a decade figuring out why B2B tech teams pitch instead of guide — and how to fix it. Right now I’m CCO at eco.mio: an interim GTM lead role that turned into purpose. With an ambitious team we’re building the next smart AI layer of business travel, and executing on what actually matters — value, not cheap AI. So I’m in the same kind of deals I coach on, every week. Through Main Impact I spar with founders and sellers making the same shift.

FAQ

Questions before we talk

Who is Main Impact for?
Founders up to roughly 3M ARR, first sales leaders and enterprise sellers in B2B tech — and whole sales teams through workshops.
What does a single session cost?
An SOS session is €250 and usually happens within a few days — also after hours or weekends if need be.
How long does an engagement run?
Most engagements run three to six months and many simply continue. We agree scope and price up front, in one conversation, and revisit it together.
Is there a startup rate?
Under 1M ARR a startup rate applies — just let me know.
What don’t you do?
Lead gen concepts, cold outbound at volume, generic playbooks, one-size-fits-all sales training — if that’s what you need, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better.
What happens in the intro call?
Thirty minutes, no deck, no pitch. Bring one deal and we’ll look at it together — if I’m not the right fit for your kind of sale, I’ll tell you straight.
